Amazon…Google….Apple. It’s a lineup of ‘who’s who’ in the tech scene, and now they all have something else in common: offices in San Diego.
Today, Apple announced it would be opening up a new site in San Diego, bringing 1,000 jobs to the region over the next three years. The company is also setting up locations in Seattle, Culver City, and Austin. As Apple’s CEO Tim Cook puts it, “Talent, creativity and tomorrow’s breakthrough ideas aren’t limited by region or zip code, and, with this new expansion, we’re redoubling our commitment to cultivating the high-tech sector and workforce nationwide.” More details have yet to be released about the San Diego campus, but according to ABC, the new campus may be located in University City.
And they’re hiring.
The company is hiring both hardware and software engineers in San Diego. Check it out: https://jobs.apple.com/en-us/search?location=san-diego-SDO
