#TakeoverTuesday with San Diego County Water Authority
Dec 13, 2018 - Amelia Carlson
For more than 70 years, San Diego County Water Authority has been providing a safe and reliable water supply to the San Diego region to help ensure a thriving economy and quality of life. It provides water to the tap in your own home to high volume areas, like the San Diego Zoo, small businesses, and local restaurants.
Its Public Affairs Rep Craig Balben hosted #TakeoverTuesday and talked about the importance of the San Diego Water Authority and how its company culture reflects that of the region – diverse, inclusive, and welcoming. He says, “I feel like I have a place here…The consistent sunshine makes San Diego such a pleasurable place to live and work. It’s an incredibly diverse and welcoming community and there is something here for everyone, no matter where you’re from. From surfing to skiing, to mariachi to country music. There is also a deep sense (you might even say “expectation”) of community service to ensure this wonderful region is better for all of us and future generations.”
