#TakeoverTuesday with Dylan Welch Media

Oct 17, 2019 - Heather Dewis

Four years ago, Dylan Welch lived in upstate New York, dreaming of a beachside city where he could impact the media industry. In search of a change of scenery, he booked a one-way ticket to San Diego, where he has since produced more than 1,000 television episodes with ABC, NBC, and Amazon Prime, and currently hosts Amazon Prime show Going Green.

In early 2019, founded Dylan Welch Media, a television, podcast, media, and marketing company just minutes from the beach. He says, “I launched my business to do one thing – to help conceptualize, produce, and distribute media content for San Diego businesses on a national and international level.” His team of directors, producers, and marketers partners with Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Podcasts, and Amazon Prime to boost San Diego media to wider audiences.

“I love working in media, in social media marketing because everything is always changing,” says Ally Archer, director of marketing. “There’s always new trends to look at, and new strategies to grow your business, reach more people, and create the impact that you deserve.” San Diego’s transformative nature makes it the perfect spot to create fresh, fun media.

“I love working in San Diego,” says Nathan Tomzack, director at Dylan Welch Media. “It’s a beautiful day.” With sunny, mid-70s weather and encouragement from office dog Riley, the team enjoys a strong work-life balance. From poolside meetings to beach volleyball breaks, creatives at Dylan Welch Media get to work hard and play hard – usually at the same time.
