Women Lyft-ing women

In case you haven’t heard, March is Women’s History Month. To celebrate the contributions of women throughout history and within our San Diego community, Lyft is providing free rides up to $10 during Women’s History Month to inspirational locations (museums, women-owned and -empowered businesses, and more).

Riders in San Diego County can visit the impactful spots below by using the code WHMSAN19:

• Holy Matcha(both locations)

• Hera Hub, Carlsbad
• Hera Hub, Mission Valley

Additionally, Lyft has partnered with former Obama White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett to feature the people and places that have inspired her (a short video interview with Valerie on the topic can be found here). The company will launch a social content series that highlights civic heroes and female Lyft drivers who have made an impact in their cities and across the country. Lyft will also be hosting local meet-ups for female drivers to help further relationships within the driver community.
