Skip Black Friday: Celebrate Small Business Saturday in San Diego

Nov 18, 2021 - Mary Cravens

The holidays are officially here, which means it’s time for gratitude, being with loved ones, a lot of eating—and even more shopping. This year, get into the holiday spirit by giving back to your community and shopping local. On November 27 (and beyond), show your support this Small Business Saturday at one of our favorite local shops.

Central San Diego

For the perfect gift for those who love the sweeter things in life stop by Hazel and Jade for decadent desserts and pastries that will leave you mind-blown, and Mostra Coffee for tasty drinks, great ambiance, and kind staff.

Vinyl Junkies is perfect for those who are music obsessed. You can find every artist from Elvis to The Doors, and the store is an experience within itself. If skateboarding sounds more appealing to your loved one, then check out Overload for everything they need to shred, from gear and apparel.

For gifts that are as unique as San Diego, check out Artelexia and Gold Leaf near iconic Balboa Park. Artelexia specializes in Mexican gifts, art, home decor, and food. It also offers unique goodie bags available for purchase to make your gift-giving as easy as it is thoughtful. Gold Leaf has everything from lavender eye pillows to earrings and an array of great gifts for those who believe in natural remedies.
