100 San Diego Companies Make the Inc. 5000 List

This summer, Inc. released its Inc. 5000 list, which ranks private companies in America growing at light speed by percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. Topping the charts were 100 San Diego-based companies, representing the region’s broad industry opportunity, from food and beverage to software, life sciences to custom furniture design and more.
Some highlights include:
Scientist.com
B2B marketplace that connects researchers at major pharmaceutical companies and the National Institutes of Health with scientific service providers. The numbers: $23.4 million revenue in 2016; 2,564 percent growth over three years.
Innovative Commercial Environments
Designs, builds and sells office and hospitality furniture for clients including government, medical and hospitality. The numbers: $7.7 million revenue in 2016; 128 percent growth over three years.
Zeeto
Provides technology marketing, including campaign creation, optimization and testing. The numbers: $34.1 million in revenue in 2016; 98 percent growth over three years.
Arctic Zero
Retails lactose free, gluten free, low glycemic, GMO free frozen dessert, similar to ice cream. Available at 14,000 natural and traditional grocers including Albertsons/Safeway and Kroger. The numbers: $26.2 million revenue in 2016; 258 percent growth over three years.
