76 data scientists attend virtual career fair

San Diego is home to really cool companies doing life-changing, life-saving work. Our companies are solving hard problems, innovating new technologies, and revolutionizing the world of precision health. And yet, not many people know about them. So in an effort to tell these companies’ stories to job seekers eager to find an excuse to move here, we hosted a virtual career fair this week. This free, web-based event focused on hiring data scientists at 4 top San Diego employers: FICO, Booz Allen Hamilton, ResMed, and Analytics Ventures. After passing our vetting process, 76 qualified data scientists attended the career fair – with more than a few reaching the final stages of the hiring process.

These job seekers were able to “visit” each employers’ booth in the virtual exhibit hall, and get real face-time with recruiters. Since this event was such a success, we plan to deploy another virtual career fair next year.
