With hundreds of world renowned restaurants, craft breweries and wineries at our disposal, it’s pretty hard not to venture outside of your cuisine comfort zone. Local celebrity chefs like Brian Malarkey and Richard Blais have made their mark in San Diego by flooding it with trendy, farm to table restaurants beckoning the ever-growing foodie scene.
Sunday Funday is a thing.
We take our brunches seriously. There’s no Bloody Mary piled too high or eggs benny too obscure. And let’s be real, years have passed since your college beer pong days. Maybe you should drink like it. There are more than 150 breweries in San Diego alone. Cheers, anyone?

Consistently recognized as the Craft Beer Capital of America, it’s no secret that San Diego is good at brewing craft beer. The local brew scene exploded over the past two decades, with household names like Stone Brewing, Karl Strauss and Ballast Point. And with newcomers like Rough Draft Brewing, Coronado Brewing and Modern Times popping up almost daily, San Diego provides a diverse array of beer styles, flavors and vibes across the county. San Diego is home to more than 150 brewhouses, making it one of the most concentrated regions for craft brewing in the country. Be careful though – once you go craft, you never go back. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

San Diego and outdoor activities are basically one and the same. When this is your backyards it’s nearly impossible to pass up opportunities to soak up the sun. With more than 70 miles of coastline, 30 beaches, 150 hiking and biking trails and dozens of surf spots, San Diego’s natural amenities provide fun (and free!) things to do all the time.
